White Roses

Yesterday I emailed the Guild of Quilters and asked if there was any local groups who accept novice crazy quilters. Theres a local group who meet once a month on the last wednesday in the evening called White Rose Quilters. They'll be meeting tomorrow night so going to see if I can go. Shall ring the lady who runs it tomorrow lunchtime. It will be nice to meet some people and have local people who are interested in the similar things to me, who can help me and inspire me. I love my online groups but sometimes you need to meet like minded people face to face. I really need to finish the gift case for M's mum and get on with the swap one. Had a bad day and it getting on with it might help me sort my head out a bit. Will try and get it finished and a picture posted by tomorrow morning.

My thoughts are with JK from CQForNewbies who is undergoing surgery today.
