First Block

"Yesterday a package arrived from Terry full of fabrics and bits and bobs for embellishment and I started I started my first block yesterday. I used the pinks and peaches as I already have thoughts in my head for the other colours. I had to use some of my heavy linen for the backing as its all I have and it made it rather hard to work, due to the bulk of it. Shall see if I can get M to pick me some muslin up at the weekend.I will also ask him to get me some Iron on interfacing.
I also started learning the embroidery stitches used as well so I can finish this block. Will post a picture when I've done so. I shall try and get on with it after the physio session this afternoon depending on what state I'm in."
