Its Finished!

Over on CQForNewbies (yahoogroup) we have a Victorian Boot Christmas Stocking Swap that Mary has organised.
This is a stash building swap. Each person taking part is making a Christmas stocking that resembles a Victorian ladies boot.

They had to be a minimum of 8 inches in length and embellished. They also had to have a loop so they could be hung up by the reciever if they so wished. The colour and style of the stocking was totally up to the person creating the stocking which is why mine is a little unorthodox being all purple and silver, with a snowflake theme!Mine is approx 10-12 inches long. Its decorated with Cross Stitch, straight stitch and Beads (plus various seam treatments).

Into this stocking will be going a minimum of 4 squishies (though they may have to be smallish to fit!)

This is the side with the toe facing to the right
And this is the side with the toe facing to the left.
This shot shows the green lining and the braid I've used to finish the top edge and create the loop with!

This is a close up of the lovely silver coloured lace thats decorating the top edge!

I hope the person who gets it likes it!
